Pillows will always divide opinion. What is right for one will not be for the other. Reading through the many reviews available, it is clear that this is at the higher end of the firmness scale for the firm pillow. The soft memory option would be a better choice for those buyers.
With reference to the firm pillow it is classed as an 8 out of 10 on the firmness scale so it is going to be firm to hard. Buyers with neck pain seemed to really like this pillow though there were one or two exceptions to the rule.
With reference to the price, it certainly isn't cheap. That said, if you are buying a specialist pillow, and this is one of those, they can vary in price from around £30-50 for a single pillow.
A set of 2 normal pillows has an average price of around £20, so yes £30+ for a single pillow is a lot to pay. The reason people are prepared to do this is of course to get a comfortable and pain free night's sleep.
